Small Bore Vacuum Jacketed Tubing

Proven expertise in small diameter vacuum insulation

If you’re looking for small diameter vacuum insulation, you’ve come to the right place. We are world-leaders in engineering and manufacturing small, thin, and high-precision vacuum insulated products.

We manufacture a range of Insulon® vacuum jacketed pipes, tubes, hoses, and sleeves in small bore sizes. Insulon® products can be engineered for both cryogenic and high-temperature applications from -270°C to 1000°C.

Small Bore Pipe Types and Sizes

Small-bore Insulon pipes are available in straight, rigid, flexible, bend-to-shape, pre-bent, and miniature configurations. We also offer a range of end fittings to integrate with your tube assembly. All Insulon pipes are double-walled and vacuum insulated. Internal diameter (ID) measurements refer to the inner pipe of the double-walled structure.

Miniature Tubing

Miniature vacuum insulated sleeves are engineered in sizes as small as 0.7mm (0.027″) ID.

For Cryogenic and High Temperature Applications

Engineered for applications from -270°C to 1000°C, Insulon small-bore pipes are suitable for a wide range of applications.

Material Selection

Insulon® small-bore tubing is typically built with stainless steel, Inconel, or other alloys. Be sure to specify any material requirements for your application on your project inquiry form.

We carefully select materials according to the needs of your application. Insulon® products can be designed to meet a variety of material requirements, including:

Stainless steel vacuum insulated pipes

Insulation Performance Data

Small-diameter Insulon® tubes might not be large in size, but they deliver huge results in thermal insulation performance.

These charts illustrate the thermal performance of an Insulon® vacuum jacketed tube with the following dimensions:

  • Inner diameter: 0.480″ (12 mm)
  • Outer diameter: 0.563″ (14 mm)
  • Overall wall thickness: 0.042″ (1 mm)
  • Length: 6″ (152 mm)
