What is Insulon® Technology?
Insulon® is an ultra-high-performance vacuum insulation technology designed to provide the strongest thermal barriers in the smallest physical footprint. Insulon® products use ultra-high vacuum spaces to virtually eliminate conduction and convection. With the addition of proprietary multi-layer insulation (MLI), radiation is also blocked, thereby limiting all three modes of heat transfer in applications from -270 to +815 degrees Celsius.

Our History
Concept Group was founded in 1970 as a manufacturer of glass-to-metal seals and as a precision CNC machine shop supplying the aerospace industry. Over the years, as our customers’ needs evolved, we developed and patented Insulon® vacuum insulation.
Insulon offers solutions for thermal applications in which traditional insulation materials are insufficient or ineffective. Today, Concept Group’s customers range from Fortune 100 companies to small, specialized customers across North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the South Pacific.
