Maximum Allowable Working Pressure (MAWP) by Temperature

Insulon® Vacuum Jacketed Hose is available in Low Pressure (LP) and High Pressure (HP) models. The LP and HP designations indicate the pressure class, not a single fixed pressure. The specific Maximum Allowable Working Pressure (MAWP) depends on the hose diameter and application temperature. For high temperature applications, a pressure derating factor is applied. High temperature applications are defined as applications above room temperature, or above 38 degrees Celsius / 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
