Ideal for intermittent cryogenic fluid transfer applications including liquid nitrogen, helium, argon, and other cryogens. Option to include a phase separator for cryogenic dispensing. For continuous cryogenic flow, please see Insulon Vacuum Jacketed Hose with MLI.

Designed without multi-layer insulation (MLI), Standard Insulon Hose feature a smaller outer diameter, lighter weight, and greater flexibility than most other vacuum jacketed hoses.

Engineered with proprietary vacuum insulation technology, Insulon hose requires zero pump-downs at installation and zero pump-down maintenance.

Description

Insulon Hose is the first of its kind — a vacuum jacketed hose engineered with proprietary insulation technology for cryogenic and high temperature environments. Insulon Hose LP is engineered for low pressure fluid transfer applications from -270 to 815°C (-454 to 1500°F).

  • Insulon Hose, High Pressure, 1/2″ ID with CGA-295 Brass has a maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) of 500 psi for fluid transfer applications from -270 to 38°C (-454 to 100°F).
  • Cryogenic applications use vacuum insulated hoses to safely transfer extreme temperature fluids including liquid nitrogen, hydrogen, helium, argon, and oxygen.
