Description
Insulon Hose is the first of its kind — a vacuum jacketed hose engineered with proprietary insulation technology for cryogenic and high temperature environments. Insulon Hose LP is engineered for applications from -270 to 815°C (-454 to 1500°F).
- Cryogenic applications use vacuum insulated hoses to safely transfer extreme temperature fluids including liquid nitrogen, hydrogen, helium, argon, and oxygen.
- High temperature applications need thermally efficient transfer hoses to minimize heat loss. Vacuum insulated hoses can help increase safety and thermal energy efficiency. Insulon Hose LP may be used in high temperature applications up to 815 degrees Celsius (1500 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Low pressure (LP) applications benefit from compact, lightweight, flexible vacuum jacketed hoses at a lower price point. Insulon Hose LP, 3/4″ ID has a maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) of 43 psi (2.96 bar) at 38°C (100°F). Contact sales for pressure derating factor at temperature for your application.
