Insulon® Vacuum Jacketed Hose, Low Pressure, Standard, 1/2″ ID with CGA-295 Brass End Fittings
Request a quote
Ideal for transient cryogenic fluid transfer applications including liquid nitrogen, helium, argon, and other cryogens. Option to include a phase separator for cryogenic dispensing.
Designed without multi-layer insulation (MLI), Standard Insulon® Hose feature a smaller outer diameter, lighter weight, and greater flexibility than most other vacuum jacketed hoses.
Engineered with proprietary vacuum insulation technology, Insulon® hose requires zero pump-downs at installation and zero pump-down maintenance.
Description
Insulon® Hose is the first of its kind — a vacuum jacketed hose engineered with proprietary insulation technology for cryogenic and high temperature environments. Insulon® Hose LP is engineered for low pressure fluid transfer applications from -270 to 815°C (-454 to 1500°F).
- Low pressure applications benefit from compact, lightweight, flexible vacuum jacketed hoses at a lower price point. Insulon® Hose LP, 1/2″ ID has a maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) of 72 psi (4.96 bar) at room temperature. For higher temperature applications, see pressure derating factor at temperature. For assistance, please contact us.
- Cryogenic applications use vacuum insulated hoses to safely transfer extreme temperature fluids including liquid nitrogen, hydrogen, helium, argon, and oxygen.
- High temperature fluid transfer systems use Insulon® Hose to minimize heat loss for maximum thermal precision and control. Applications include process heaters, exhaust lines, steam lines, and deposition gases.
