Estimated Lead Time: 1 week ARO

Insulon® Hose Standard is engineered for applications where space, weight, and maneuverability are the primary design constraints. Insulon® Hose Standard provides high-performance thermal insulation in a significantly more lightweight, compact, flexible package than other vacuum jacketed hoses on the market.

This 20-foot hose is part of our Ready to Ship inventory, allowing you to bypass standard lead times for urgent system requirements.

Insulon® Hose, Low Pressure, 3/4″ ID has a maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) of 43 psi (2.96 bar) at room temperature (RT). For fluid temperatures above 38 degrees Celsius, see pressure derating at temperature.

Description

Insulon® Hose Standard is engineered for applications where space, weight, and maneuverability are the primary design constraints. Insulon® Hose Standard provides high-performance thermal insulation in a significantly more lightweight, compact, flexible package than other vacuum jacketed hoses on the market.

This 20-foot hose is part of our Ready to Ship inventory, allowing you to bypass standard lead times for urgent system requirements.

Why Choose Insulon® Standard?

Lightweight & Compact: Designed with a minimal outer diameter envelope, Insulon® Hose Standard is the ideal choice for weight-sensitive systems and installations where space is at a premium.

Superior Flexibility: Features a small bend radius, allowing for easy bending and routing at installation.

High-Performance Insulation: Engineered with Concept Group LLC’s proprietary Insulon® vacuum technology to reduce heat transfer and improve system efficiency.

Non-Fibrous & Cleanroom Ready: Unlike traditional insulation that can shed particles or compress over time, Insulon® is non-fibrous and maintenance-free.

Reduced Condensation: Helps prevent dripping, frost, and corrosion by limiting moisture accumulation on the outer surface.

Insulon® Hose, Low Pressure, 3/4″ ID has a maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) of 43 psi (2.96 bar) at room temperature (RT). For fluid temperatures above 38 degrees Celsius, see pressure derating at temperature.

For applications requiring maximum thermal insulation performance, please see our Insulon® MLI series.

  • Depending on the type of end fitting selected, the fitting will either be installed on the hose before shipment or will be delivered in-box.

End fittings that are installed before shipment:

    • CGA-295 Brass
    • JIC swivel nuts
    • Other flared end fittings
    • Flanges

End fittings that are shipped in-box:

    • Compression unions
    • Compression adapters (NPT, BSPT, etc.)

End fittings are an optional add-on. Insulon Hose may be ordered without end fittings, in which case they will be delivered with fully-weldable 316 stainless steel tube stubs.

  • Yes, bulk discounts are available for qualifying orders. Request a quote →

  • No, Insulon® Vacuum Jacketed Hoses cannot be cut to length after delivery. They must be ordered in the appropriate size for installation. Insulon® Vacuum Jacketed Hose are available in lengths up to 65 feet. Multiple sections of hose can be joined with compression unions to achieve runs longer than 65 feet.
  • Concept Group LLC is the sole and proprietary manufacturer of Insulon® Vacuum Jacketed Hose. Customers may purchase Insulon® Vacuum Jacketed Hose directly from Concept Group LLC, or through one of our sales partners.

  • No, adding an outer braid does not affect the pressure rating. Insulon Vacuum Jacketed Hose include the option to add an outer braid to provide additional protection against abrasion. For example, in an application where the hose will be repeatedly dragged across a concrete floor, adding an outer braid is recommended.
  • The maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) guidelines for Standard and MLI hoses are exactly the same. Only the pressure specification (Low Pressure or High Pressure) affects the pressure rating.
