PTFE/PFA Tubing with Insulon Vacuum Jacketed Hose

Combine PTFE or PFA tubing with Insulon Vacuum Jacketed Hose to create a fluid transfer solution with maximum thermal insulation and non-metallic wetted surfaces.

PTFE and PFA tubing are used in critical fluid transfer applications including those in chemical processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and semiconductor production. From cryogenics to high temperatures up to 260 degrees Celsius, PTFE and PFA tubing are used when non-metallic materials are required to meet application specifications. PTFE and PFA are necessary to avoid unwanted chemical reactions, corrosion, and other issues that can result in slower production and costly downtime.

In many of these low- and high-temperature applications, the PTFE or PFA tubing requires thermal insulation to maintain precise thermal control. Whether improving energy efficiency, protecting neighboring components, or preventing condensation, thermal insulation helps ensure the safe, reliable, and effective transfer of sensitive fluids in these critical applications.

Features

  • Smooth internal bore
  • Non-metallic wetted surfaces
  • High temperature thermal insulation
  • Ultra-high performance thermal insulation
  • Compatible with PTFE and PFA tubing with outer diameter (OD) from 1/16″ to 3/4″
  • Insulon Hose + PTFE/PFA assemblies may be used across PTFE/PFA’s complete operating temperature range, from cryogenic to 260 Celsius

Benefits

  • Prevents heat loss or gain to keep fluid at target temperatures
  • Non-metallic wetted surface avoids unwanted chemical reactions or corrosion
  • Protect personnel and equipment from dangerous or damaging high temperature exposure
  • Improve thermal energy efficiency and reduce load on heaters
  • Prevent condensation of gases in deposition applications
The PTFE or PFA tubing runs continuously through the hose for a fully non-metallic wetted surface.
